This Saturday, April 27 you have one place to be: the Stitch ’n Kitsch, a local, indie artist show where you will be dazzled by the talent of local (and almost local) designers and
artisans.
This artsy collective has been hosting shows since 2005, bringing together some talented potters, crafters, jewellery designers, artists and photographers as well as other random talented makers so you can enjoy their art (and of course, buy their art).
This show will offer beautiful pottery, vintage Canadiana home decor, glass art, jewellery, paper objects, cutsie brooches and hats, belt buckles, luscious organic cosmetics, bags and some unusual and intriguing art with dolls, yarn, cork and other materials. And it is conveniently located in Uptown Waterloo.
And this year, enjoy #popup bakery, Ambrosia Pastry, who will be there showcasing their beautiful baked goods, like these macaroons which are art in themselves.
If you like cool and pretty things and supporting local artists and craftspeople, this is a great place to spend part of your Saturday. Enjoy the handmade party. You’ll leave with something amazing.
